I think some iPhone users may feel frustrated of missing the perfect shots because of the slow loading of camera. It is not surprised if you find that after using iPhone for long time, launching to camera is much slower than before.

A new approach to quick start camera by sliding up the camera under screen lock mode is available since iOS5 above. It seems a little bit more practical and convenient compared to tabbing camera directly. However, it still takes quite a few seconds to endure loading camera.

So how to speed up the camera?

Step 1: Clear all the photos in iPhone or transfer them to PC. This helps to save space for Albums and to ensure reducing time for loading thumbnails or calculating the photos.

Step 2: Restart iPhone at least once a week in order to clear redundant data(press power and home together at about 10 seconds till your iPhone shows white Apple Logo then release together).

Step 3: Make sure to shut the background apps or use KillBackground to shut all the background jobs if you don’t use them. This can also affects quick launching camera.

Step 4: Use Snappy, a plug-in in Cydia, which can start camera without quitting the running programs.
