Generally speaking, most Apple fans use iPhone or iPad to surf internet, listen to music or watch movie. Even though it's easy to use iPhone and iPad but iTunes is somehow difficult for the green hands. Today we will teach you a basic lesson about how to transfer movies to iOS device.

Preparation:

- the latest version iTunes
- an iOS device, iOS 5+
- a USB wire
There are 2 types of movies: iOS device supported format - MP4, and other non-compatible formats like mkv, rmvb.
1. Open iTunes, go to "File" - "Add File to Library".

2. Now you will see the chosen movies in the library. If not that means the movie format is not supported by iPhone. We can first convert the movie to iPhone compatible format.

If the iOS device default doesn't support playing the video format, then you need to download an extra media player like RushPlayer, AcePlayer. Sync the movies to these media players via WiFi or USB.

We take RushPlayer for example:

Open iTunes and connect your device with computer via USB, click RushPlayer then add files.

Choose movies:

Run RushPlayer and play the movies in your device.

For syncing music you can apply the similar method. Remember that not all the media formats are compatible with iPhone so if you have downloaded music or videos that you won't be able to play in iPhone, better convert them first. You can turn to Video Converter Ultimate for help, which is availble for all types of iPhone and iPad.
