The Do Not Disturb feature in iOS 6 may be not so intelligent somehow. Though the phone would be silent when it's in sleep mode with Do Not Disturb on, it's kind of annoying during the normal use of iPhone when the feature is enabled but it still makes sounds, which may disturb the people around out of the blue. However, the problem can be easily solved in iOS 7, just in a few simple steps.
First, open "Settings", enter "Do Not Disturb". Select "Always" under "SILENCE" rather than "Only while iPhone is locked". And, disenable "Repeated Calls". Done!

Now, you won't hear any sounds when calls or alerts arrive. That's easy, right? iOS 7 obviously fix that problem appearing in iOS 6.
