Tutorial: How to Get Back Deleted or Lost Photos on Hard Drive?

• Step 1: Download, Install and Run the Program
Here two versions are available. One is Windows version and the other one is Mac version. Make sure you download the right version and install it on your computer (Here we take the Windows version for an example). Launch the program, you can see the main interface below:

• Step 2: Choose a Hard Drive on your Computer
Click "Recover Photo, Audio & Video" and you will get the following window. All logical drives as well as physical drives are displayed in lists. Choose a disk and click on "Advance Scan" to go on.

• Step 3: Selectively Check Photo Files to Scan
In the window below, click "Photo" option on the right and check the file types in "File List". If you only want to scan for lost photos, you can click on "Audio" and "Video" separately to "Unselect All" in "File List". This will greatly save the scanning time for you. Then, click on the right-arrow icon at the bottom so it will start to scan for deleted pictures automatically.

• Step 4: Preview and Choose Photo Files to Recover
It will take some time to complete the scanning, then you will get the scanning results listed on the left in the window. Expand "Photos" icon and click on each file one by one so you can preview and check photos you want to recover.

Note: you are provided three styles to preview these photos: Thumbnail View, List View or CoverFlow View. Choose one as you like on the top left bar of the window.

• Step 5: Recover and Save Deleted Photos
After choosing photos you want to recover, click "Recover" button at the bottom so the program will help you retrieve them back. Surely, you need to select a folder on your computer to save those recovered photos when the dialog box appears asking you the location. Wait for the recovery now.

Note: Better to save the scan information when you exit the program after the recovery, so you can directly go to the scanning results and recover files next time.

Photo Recovery can also recover photos from digital camera, external hard drives, laptops and desktop, USB Drives, and memory cards. Moreover, it can recover lost or deleted photos, music, songs, videos and other multimedia files. You can completely believe in this wonderful program to help you solve the file loss problem.
