Before users couldn't block contacts, message and facetime call in their iPhone without jailbreak. But the latest iOS7 version allows you to block all the unwanted people and keep yourself in peace. Let's see how it works:

How to Block Caller's Phone Number on iPhone in iOS 7

1.a) Go to "Settings" - "Phone" - "Blocked" - "Add New…"
b) Choose those you don't want to hear from and block.

2. Or if you want to block someone from a recent call but not in your contacts.
a) Go to "Phone" - "Recents".
b) Tab the small blue "!".
c) Scroll down and select "Add to Existing Contact".

3. Is it you couldn't block a number that is not in your contacts or who hasn't called you? You just can't enter a number and block but you can still save it to your contacts then implement the same steps above.

So if the blocked person wants to call you he or she will hear one or two seconds ring tone then will be sent to the voicemail. If they try to factime you, it will just keeps ringing on their end but end up with nobody answers without bothering you. So you don't need to worry that they know you've blocked them.
