Every time there's a new operation system release, crash rate of apps runs up accordingly. However, a study shows that apps on iPhone 5s experience far more crash than iPhone 5c and iPhone 5.

According to research from Crittercism, a startup that specializes in providing technical supports for mobile applications, apps on iPhone 5s crash roughly 2% of the time they're running, while it's only 1% on iPhone 5c and iPhone 5.

"Anytime there is new hardware or software release, we see issues," said Crittercism CEO Andrew Levy in an interview, "Inevitably, over time, those issues get resolved."

Levy said that the reason iPhone 5s is experiencing more crash than iPhone 5c might be that, during a couple of months of iOS 7 beta testing, developers were able to take their time to check the apps for compatibility with iOS 7, while iPhone 5s couldn't make it in good time. And iPhone 5s packs a new 64-bit A7 chip and an M7 coprocessor, while the iPhone 5c is internally much the same as the iPhone 5. However, a press spokesman from Apple refused to make any comments on that.

However, Levy indicated that errors always appeared on the newly released device or operation system, but the good news was that Apple had realized the issues and had released successively two updates for iOS 7.

It will get better. Though you have noticed something a bit frustrating on your brand new iPhone 5s, it's still the finest iPhone available. Things will work out, so just hang in there.
